Ladies Bible Study           Tuesdays 9.30-11am

The Ladies Bible Study is held at Dimity St Church each Tuesday at 9.30am.  There are usually 5-6 women and a few toddlers who attend.  We start with tea, coffee and home baking and a time to chat about our lives, joys and problems.

The studies vary from study books to teaching DVD's.   “Women who met Jesus” showed us that in an age where women were treated as second-class citizens, Jesus treated them with dignity and compassion. “Chosen for change”  are we a part of God's big plan?  - helped us see if we were serving ourselves or God.

We have also followed the same DVD session as the Tuesday evening study.  It has been good following on Sunday's teaching with an in-depth look at the history and culture of Bible times to help us understand God's Word better.

With this small group we have been able to share a lot of experiences with each other. There is a very special feeling of being able to share openly about our relationship with God, our daily struggles and our desire to serve God more.





Ladies Bible Study
