Family Service 11am-12pm
As we read through the life of Jesus as recorded in the Bible we
see Him teaching old and young alike about the Creator God’s love for us His
creation. We at Dimity Street Church
seek to provide an opportunity for young and old, families and individuals to Worship,
Praise God and together hear the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ.
Family Service also provides an opportunity to hear how
relevant the Bible is in the 21st century, and to challenge us all, as we find
out what God wants from each one of us today!
For the first half of the service is spent together where we
sing, pray and enjoy a short message for all ages (but especially the
children). At this point toddlers go to the crèche and primary ages join the Sunday School. The rest of us remain in the school hall to
hear relevant and challenging messages from the Bible.
Everyone is invited to stay afterwards for tea, coffee &
juice. (On the 1st Sunday of
the month tea and coffee is at the beginning of the Service.)
